Subject: .NET application install deployment

Question
I've created two .NET 2.0 Windows applications and for each created an installation project that creates the MSI and SetUp.exe. Both have been fully tested and are working. Is it possible to create an installation that will combine the two of these?  I also have a set of SQL scripts that need to be applied via a bat file that will run the scripts using OSQL.  Can I have the install execute the bat file as well?

Answer
What I can understand from your question is that you want both the options in a single setup file and enable user to choose the type of installation.

If that is so and also you want certain scripting to be run, I would prefer (in my case for similar situation) to use Install Shield complete version. It needs to be installed separately. Not only will it enable you to do more customization but it also enables scripting and is very feature rich.
