Question
Hi, The following code works fine in a windows form:

Private Sub udpserver_AfterReceive(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles udpserver1.AfterReceive
       If Me.InvokeRequired Then
           Me.Invoke(New _DisplayMessage(AddressOf DisplayMessage1))
       Else
           DisplayMessage1()
       End If
   End Sub

I need to do this in a windows service but I don't have a "me.invokerequired" or "me.invoke".
Any idea?
Thanks

Answer
I think windows service it all runs in a single thread.

Or you might want to start a parametrized thread to pass values otherwise making a normal call to the method should be enough.

Normally you don't use controls in windows services, but if there are any then you can use ControlName.invokerequired method to do the job.
