Subject: vb.net datetimepicker value changed

Question
When I double click a datetimepicker I get a datimetimepicker selected value changed subroutine. Then when I click the down arrow on date time picker and select the backward or forward button to display another month the selected value function runs in an infinite loop.

Answer
there must be some code in the eventhandler which is re-firing the event pls. check if you are re-assiging the value of the datetimepicker control again in the event handler code. moreover you must not be re-calling the same routine again. Things might get more complex e.g. on changed event you say text1.text = "hello" and on text1.changed you are saying datetimepicker1.value = text1.text, something like this would also cause an infinite recursion of events.

if you cant find the problem then send me the code and I will see what to do.

Regards,
Rizwan
