Question The house would be for two families, so it needs at least 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a garden. We like city living, and we may not have a car - we need to be very near shops, good public transport, healthcare. Perhaps the outskirts of a big city would suit, if there was quick access to the centre. The immediate locality should be reasonably pleasant and safe. We don't have to be near the sea. The budget is 300,000 euros. Barcelona seems expensive. The house can be new or old, we will consider anything. We like mild winters and would want to avoid extremes of climate. Can you suggest a locality to search?

If itīs a temperate climate you desire, then you should look much further south.
Costa del Sol is about the best, climate wise, but some arrears are expensive.
