Answer For flags, there is the BC Flag, and the flag of Vancouver flying at each of the four corners of the towers of the bridge.
The things that adorn the ligh posts of the bridge are not flags persey, they are banners depicting some local event or just something pretty to look at as you bike, drive, walk or jog across the bridge.
If you go to www.katcam.ca, you will be looking out a window situated at the south east corner of the bridge. You may be able to see the actual writing on the banners from there.
