Question I would like to start a vegeterian lifestyle but was wondering what I would eat other then carrots/apples/celery adn grapes lol can you help
Answer All vegetables and fruits are part of a vegetarian diet. Visit the farmer’s market or the produce section of your supermarket to see all that’s available. Soy products, beans, nuts, oats, pasta, rice, and grains are other vegetarian foods available. Unless you are considering becoming a vegan, all dairy products can be part of a vegetarian lifestyle. The only limitations to a vegetarian diet are the individual’s preferences.
With your reference to carrots, apples, and celery you may be thinking just diet rather than vegetarian diet. Some people actually gain weight on a vegetarian diet because many of the foods are not low fat. You may want to go to the local (or online) bookstore and browse through the vegetarian cook books to get an idea of the recipes that can be prepared. Today’s vegetarian has many options for delicious eating.
