Question I'm a 13 year old girl in an open relationship with my boyfriend. Me and my boyfriend will be going to an oral sex party together next week. Me and my boyfriend have never been to a sex party before, but some of my friends have. We were told that only oral sex is allowed at the sex party and only people in grade 8 are invited (me and my boyfriend are both in grade 8). We were also told that there will be a blowjob contest at the sex party in which all the girls compete to see who can suck dick the best (the fastest, longest, hardest, etc.). I really want to go because I love sucking dicks and I love the smell and taste of them! But I'm worried if sucking a lot of dicks can have negative consequences. Is it possible for me to get a disease by sucking a lot of dicks?
Answer Ruby,
I didn't know there really were oral sex parties, especially hosted by 8th graders. I thought that was a myth!
Anyway, you are very smart to worry that giving a lot of oral sex to a lot of people can have negative consequences. The more people you engage in oral sex with, the higher the risk you have of contracting a sexually transmitted infection.
You might think you can tell if someone has herpes, chlamydia, genital warts, HIV, or a number of other STIs, but the fact is that most people don't have ANY symptoms at all, and many people don't even know that they have an STI. That is why it is so important to always be safe and responsible. Right now, 1 out of every 4 teenagers has an STI, and many probably don't even know it. Most of the time, you can't tell someone has an STI just by looking at their genitals.
I highly advise you not to attend a party like this. Not only can it be dangerous to your health, but what about your self esteem, or reputation?
If I cannot convince you not to go, then I at least advise you to insist on using a condom, even during oral sex. It is the best way to prevent yourself from getting an infection or disease, and of course the number one best way to protect yourself is to not participate in the oral sex activities at this party. If nothing else, wouldn't it be as much fun just to attend the party and be a spectator, and not engage in the blowjob contest? Just an idea.
