Subject: bumps and itching rash throughout bikini area

Question
Ok - maybe I am worry for nothing. I have not been sexualy active for about 2 months and before that I had only one sexualy partner. However, I have learned that when he was with me he was also having sex my random guys on the side.

So no, of course I am freaked and worried I could have every STD in the book.

My main issue right now is a have a rash and bumps that are small and itch all throughout my bikini area. I do have very senstive skin and I usually shave my entire bikini and pelvic area .... and sometimes the skin does itch or become irritated .. but this seems worse then before and has been going on for a couple of days if not longer ..... so is there anything I should be worried about and if so what?

Answer
Ashley,

What you have sounds like razor burn, which you said is something you usually have since you shave. Since you said it seems worse than usual, I would suggest seeing your doctor just to be on the safe side. Most likely its nothing, but it can't hurt to find out for sure.

Hope I could help put your mind at ease a little,

Lyndsay
