Question
hi,

Sorry for asking this question but I am stressed out of my mind.
Last night I stupidly had unprotected anal sex for about 1min. I am a virgin and never had sex before (obviously). The girl has never had anal before and also never had unprotected sex. Also I received oral. Afterwards i cleaned the region thoroughly plus my hands etc. with soap.
What are the chances of contracting a dangerous STD? i.e. have I wrecked my life for a stupid 1min. Or have i got lucky and definitely learnt my lesson.
What can I do to be sure??

Thanks for your time!!

Answer
John,

Can't tell you for sure over the internet. You will have to see if you develop any symptoms or have a checkup. Call you doctor and see what they say and recommend. Yes, you have to be really careful and self-disciplined. Don't put yourself in a situation where things might get out of control. You said it-it's not worth the rest of your life. Soap cannot clean up a disease.

Also, for your information, there is no such thing as "protected" sex. I don't believe that people say that because in my opinion, it's untrue. Condoms or pills are not "protected". No method of birth control can guarantee that you would not get a disease or cause a girl to be pregnant. So practice abstinence and be healthy. Let me know what happens.
