Diabetes yeast rash?
Hello there , I have type 1 diabetes that is not controlled at the moment . I had this rash or these bumps show up and the doctor tested for herpes but my blood came back negative . The rash then disappeared .... It's backagain and now I'm being told it's probably a yeast infection or rash caused by my high blood sugars ... Does this look like the case to you ? This rash comes and goes and doesn't effect anyone else ... So far ... Thanks for UR help!

Since you didn't describe any sexual activity leading me to believe it could be caused by an STI, then YES I do believe your uncontrolled blood sugar is a very likely culprit because your immunity is compromised as a result of high blood sugar. You are susceptible to bacterial and fungal infections (like candida) because of the high blood sugar, which would explain the "come and go" scenario very well. Once you get your glucose under control it would also get the yeast under control, but in either case you really really should contact your provider to get both under control.
