Subject: thrush

Question
hello, i've heard that thrush occurs when you have white discharges and itchiness around ur vagina, i had these symptoms and i heard that a medicine called Difflucan One helps with this problem, however, after taking Difflucan One, even though the itchiness stopped, i started to have reddish discharges. is it supposed to be like that in process of recovery or do I have to cantact my GP?
thank you

Answer
If you live near a Public Health Clinic, go there.

Thrush is not difficult to treat, but what you say suggests you may have a concurrent infection of some kind. You should see someone who knows a lot about venereal diseases, and that will be at a Public Health clinic.
