Question
hello  Fransisco , i have read through ur answers and find them very information i intend to visit Venezuela later in the year i am an African and  i will like to to how are African accepted  in Venezuela and  are they getting jobs to do ? is there no racial,l discrimination and what are they prospect of  improving ones educational status .

Answer
Hello Darlington:

Welcome to Venezuela !

Africans are accepted like any other citizens in Venezuela, there is no difference.  To get a job you need to have qualifications and a visa that allows you to work.

Only the actual regime (government) discriminates persons via  the "Tascon list"  a list made by a congress member (same party as Hugo Chavez)to exclude Venezuelan citizens from working in the public sector (a tropical and communist version of the apartheid)

You can improve you educational status, but depending on the level and topic you can get many subjects (free) in the Internet from world class institutions such as MIT and Stanford University.

Best regards,

Francisco
