Question
Hello - do you have any background in advising on grant applications? We are a women owned business, but we are FOR profit, and from my initial research, that appears to be a road block. Looking foraward to hearing from you.

Answer
Vivian;

what type biz?
where?

let me ask you this--let's assume there are limited or
unlimited grants for biz.  WE can all get them.   WE get our grant and that means someone or some organization
provides this cash.

who is providing it?  why are they competing with
the banks?

how much do they make available?

why can't any biz idea qualify?

in a month, with 1,000,000 people wanting to start a biz
with a grant, [nice idea, frankly] that means no risk to
the entrepreneur, no biz plan needed, no market studying
needed...?

that takes away 36% of the bank's bread and butter.

or does it?

this has not been researched in detail.  IT is a supposition.

but who has the billions of dollars to provide the grants?

an RFP--to provide a [goverment] customer for a biz, is different from a grant.

I have never seen a small biz grant.

THERE is no one to give away such dollars, to review
a biz plan in such a way.......

now, if the granting org would require a biz plan and
a biz advisor to work at the start-up......

till then, I will advise you on how to get $
