Question
My wife and I would like to see New England, perhaps a long weekend vacation in Jan/Feb.  Got any suggestions for a ski lodge for first time snow skiers? Don't know a thing about Vermont, so any suggestions you have that could enhance our vacation would be very welcome!  thanks!

Answer
Hi Jeff,

If you are first time snow skiers, I would suggest that you try one of the easier mountains to ski such as Stratton Mountain in Bondville, VT.  They offer several beginner type trails and I would also highly recommend a lesson before just trying out the slopes.  It is very important that you know how to turn and how to stop, or else your first experience will not be pleasant.

If you put Stratton Mountain into google search, the official website will come up and you can go from there.  Hope this helps.

Kindest regards,

Tom Webster
