Question
Hi, I need to do a Comparitive Essay comparing Mysterious Island and Journey to the Centre of the Earth. I need to compare styles of writing, themes, and a Literary Criticism. I do not know where to start can u help me?

Answer
The two best (and recent) translations of these Jules Verne novels have both a very good critical apparatus which could help you to write your essay:
1. Mysterious Island, Wesleyan University Press, transl. by Sydney Kravitz
2. Center of the Earth, Oxford University Press, transl. by Bill Butcher.

Enjoy the reading!
