Question Hello Dr. Troost,
My ENT diagnosed me with BPPV and asked me to perform the Epley manuevers should a recurrence occur. He first performed the Epley back in Nov '03, and my vertigo gradually went away. I did not have a recurrence until two weeks ago. I've been doing the Epley exercises at home, 2-3 times a day for the past 2 weeks but vertigo symptoms have not diminished.
Should I continue the exercises until my vertigo goes away or ask to be referred to my ENT again for another diagnosis?
Any advice you can offer is appreciated. Thank you.
