Question hi again,
Just wrote to you and got an answer of bppv. Problem is my dizziness is not positional, i rock all the time. Here's what I posted on a forum
hi,
This is mainly directed to Pratik Ruparell. Have same dizziness as you. Been going for 5 months. Even laying on the bed,it feels like the bed is moving around. If I sit up for awhile rocking dizziness gets worse, and I find my body actually rocking or swaying. Sometimes pressure in the head, especially the ears. Been through doctors,Ent's,otoneurologists etc. No avail. Had mri, nothing showed up.Maybe an mri with contrast might show something up,but doctors are unwilling to give me one(they say it costs the public health system too much money) When it first started I went to the hospital's casualty department 6 times in 10 days. They kept sending me home saying it was just panic anxiety. Ha!! They must think I have nothing else better to do than sit in the casualty department for 6 hours at a time. Fair enough,I am anxious, but I'm trying to get through to doctors that the symptoms are causing the anxiety, not visa versa. The dizziness is there 24/7. Lately have been having feelings like I'm going to lose consciousness, like a quick squeezing of the brain. It's not a lightheaded "oh, I think I might faint" feeling. It's very oppresive, heavy headed feeling. Have found 2mg Xanax helps, because it works on suppressing the dizziness part of the brain. So try that(valium is supposed to do the same thing but never worked for me). If Pratik or anyone else with the same kind of thing has found an answer,or if you just want to talk about it,please feel free to email me at tanyak55@iprimus.com.au.
Take care all you dizzy people
There must be a solution somewhere, somehow.
Cheers
Tanya
Answer If your symptoms are primarily pure rocking you probably have MDD (mal de debarqment). Dr Hain is one of the
experts - read about it on his website at:
