Hi Dawn, I have a guestion for you, did you have a fever blister(herpes symplex 1) on your lip at the time that this started with your ear and vertigo? Because if the answer is yes then you definately had viral labrinthitis!! I know this because I am going through it! The vertigo is awful.!!! Best advice is, good night sleep, supplements (multi and fish oil) low salt intake, prayers and well, time....... Good luck Kerry
