Question
Doctor: i have had this problem back in 1994 and now again of lightheadness and an off balance feeling at times which in turn feels as if i may faint, yet never have fainted.  I am presently seeing a cardiolgist and i think he may due this tilt table test on me, and i am going to see an endochronlogist to see if it may be from that end, back in 94 i seen an ENT doctor and he put me thru the test were water is squirted into the ear he said that test was normal and at that time then i went onto a nerolgist who said it was psychiatric,,i came across a few weeks ago the ENT doctors report to my family doc about that water test and it said that someting showed mild tendency i think to some dizziness i can dig it up and write back to you exactly what it said if that might help, anyway do you think i should go back and see him on top of these other doctors and get that test done again?

Answer
Dear Marc:

If your main symptom is really lightheadedness and not spinning dizziness I think you should follow through with your cardiologist and endocrinologist.  I don't think it is going to help to dig up an old ENT test that was basically normal.

Best regards,
