Question
Hi I have tinnitus & I quit smoking on Jan 15th/ 04 &I have taking up walking 2 miles a day , I have noticed that my ringing in the ears is getting worse is this just temperary ?

Answer
Dear Herb:

Most people get some form of tinnitus sooner or later.  Increase blood flow , as from exercise, makes the subjective symptom worse often times.  Since the course of tinnitus (whehter it stays or gets beeter or worsens ) is entirely unpredictable, my guess is that your experience is just temporary.

Best regards,
