Question can vertigo be linked to migraines?
Answer Dear Shannon:
Yes vertigo can be linked to migraine. Some series say that up to 40% of patients with migraine suffer occasional or regular episodes of dizziness/vertigo with their attacks.
In general the episodes of vertigo should occur at or around the time of the migraine headache to be considered linked.
I have just written a chapter on "Vestibular Migraine" but it won't be published for about 6 months. Write me then and I will send you a copy.
