Question Hey Doc. well I have a couple questions, i'm 25 and have vertigo or so they say. I have read your list of symptoms and I do have pretty much all of them, including the weakness and numbing of body parts, I have had a cat scan done and blood work and all has come back negative of any tumors or irregularites in my blood. I also suffer from stomache cramps and lower pains more towards my groine area. Is this common? I also get most symptoms when trying to sleep, example...I'll be lying down and all of a sudden i'll get a werid shaking feeling in my legs or arms or chest or even my stomache, is this normal? any help you can give me would be a great help...thanks for your time...
Answer Dear Mark:
As far as I am aware your stomach pains etc have nothing to do with your dizziness, but they are not normal.
It may be that you have 2 conditions, one affecting the inner ear (vertigo) and the other your gi tract. I honestly cannot think of an association between the two.
I am glade your CT scan and blood tests were normal.
I'd suggest, if your symptoms persist, that you be evaluated by a Neurologist.
