Question
Hi.

I am researching Canadian cities for my plan to move from the US.  I've been
to Vancouver extensively and have gone to Victoria a couple of times (and
loved it!)

What is average rental prices for a 3 bedroom apartment in and around Vic.
I'd like to live close to UVic if that is not too expensive.

Thanks for any answers you can provide.

Answer
Hi Kurtis,

Thanks for your question.  The average price for a 3 bedroom apartment is about $1,300.  The area around UVic is desirable (due to student demand) so you might pay more to live there.

UsedVictoria.Com
The following is a great website for rentals (as well as other stuff):
http://www.usedvictoria.com/classifieds/apartment-rentals

Another very popular site is Craigs List:
http://victoria.en.craigslist.ca/apa/

Hope that helps.  Best of luck.
