Subject: can't install a visiontek x1300 on my pc

Question
i tried all ways i know but i can't make this card run , my pc it's  a sony vaio
model vgc-rb43 and the video card is a pci visiontek x1300.
pleeeeese help!!!!! thanks....

Answer
first if you have onboard video you'll need to go into windows and disable it. Then reboot with the new card in and enter the bios. Make sure onboard video is set to disable or auto.
If no onboard video install the new card and see if you see the boot manufacturer boot screen. Enter the bios and load the setup defaults.
If the card takes it's own power source make sure that is plugged in also.
Let me know how it goes
