Question
Hi, I have recieved a game at one of my friends. The game name is DOOM3.  When I put the disk in my cdrom, it takes so +- 1 minute to autorun. Now I was lucky to be shown the autoplay window of doom3. You then have options to choose from. Install, Ekstras, Credits, ect. When I click on install it gives me a DEMOSHIELD error. Cant remember what exactly it says. Now when I put the cd in my cdrom it dont wants to auto play. When I want to auto play it manually in gives another erro:"launce.exe-application error         The application failed to intialize properly(0xc00000060). Click on ok to terminate the application." When I want to explore the cd and double click on install sield the pc freezes.  It is a copied game. I have windows xp home ed.  my cpu is 1600mhz, 1gig Ram, 80 Gig HDD, GEforce FX 7200. PLease help I would appreciate it. :-)

Answer
You meet the minimum requirements

I think the problem is just that its a copied game. Most games are made not to be able to be copied correctly.
Make sure you have all the windows updates.
I would recommend Just getting the real Cds. You can get them on ebay for a couple bucks
