Question
QUESTION: Hi,
I have this card in my Dell 690 Workstation. Running Win XP. I have been having problems with my display when I run any or all of these programs: Outlook, PowerPoint, Corel Draw X3 and Photoshop CS2. Problem is that some text or graphics do not display correctly and it makes it very hard to get any work done.  The programs may work fine for a few minutes, then I get the display problems and have to quit.  Have you heard of any problems like this with this card? thanks for any help you can give.

ANSWER: Can you describe the issue in more detail? Have you tried updating the drivers? Does the problem occur on different monitors?

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: Yes, I have updated my video drivers it still happens on different monitors, and I even tried a differnt video card in it. Same problem exists.  I saw in my Mcaffe virus scanner it found a W32/Sality.ac virus and put it in quarantine. It also just found a Spy-Agent.bw.dldr questionable file and I had Mcaffee delete it.  Do you think either of these might be what's casing my display problems?

Answer
If the video card change doesn't improve the situation, we're talking about either a different internal problem, or a software issue, given that you've found multiple viruses, I'd just reformat the whole system clean and start over, consider improving browsing habits.
