Question
Dear Sir/ Madam,

I brought a new PC two days before only. The mother board is Mercury 945 and the monitor is 19" LDC Branded View sonic.

After all the Installation are over (Including VGA Driver) , a message is coming in the screen stating " Choose 1440 x 900" resolution. But in the display property There is no such a resolution. Can you please assist me how to get that resolution or compatible resolution.

The monitor is time and again generating the same alert message to set the resolution.

Thanks in advance

Note : This is the first time i am asking you regarding this. Please give the answer or the path where the answer is already available

Answer
Most likely a video driver or video card prob.
Right click my computer and choose manage. Scroll down to device manager. Expand display adapters. CHeck the make and model of the adapter and look for yellow exclamation points.
GO online to the computer manufacturer's website and download the newest  video drivers for your model (if it is a Nvidia(Geforce)or ATI(Radon) video card get the drivers directly from them (website).
Install the drivers and reboot.
Right click the desktop and choose properties (personalize in vista). Gp to the display setting and increase the settings to match those required by the monitor.
