Subject: VGA card for intel Desktop Board D865PERL

Question
Hello Sir,
I am thinking to upgrade the VGA card of my Computer. Its main specifications are:
intel Desktop Board D865PERL
AGP 8X
400W power supply

So i would like to know which is the best VGA card compatible for my PC. I use my computer mostly for gaming. I am a game enthusiast and like to play all games on high detail level. My budget for the new VGA is around 120 US $. Since availability of the new recommended VGAs could also be an issue in my country, please tell me a few good options to choose from. Also note that the shortage of power from the power supply(400 Watts) will not be a problem since I am ready to upgrade that also if needed. Thanks for your help in advance.

Thats all compatible cards that newegg stocks.
You can narrow down the list by choosing options on the left.
You can get a fairly good card but be aware most companies are not putting to much into the AGP cards since PCI express is the main video card technology now.

Here is a nice ATI card

Nvidia

Either of those should work nicly for you. Both come with everything you need, (the nvidia also comes with power adapter).

Power supply

600 watts - rosewill. I have used them before they work really good. More power is always a good thing.

With the nvidia your only gonna get support up to direct x9, the ATI supports up to direct x 10. If your only using XP you don't really need direct x 10 support at this time so go for the Nvidia, but if your using Vista go for the ATI card.
