Question Hi Chris,
I'm having a problem with my Dell monitor...
After anywhere between 10-20 minutes of it being on, it will slowly go blurry to the point where everything on the screen is almost illegible. I can make out the words on the controls screen for the monitor because they are a bit larger than anything else, but messing around with that doesn't seem to do me any good--it just moves the screen around a bit. It is definitely a problem with the monitor because I have plugged another monitor into the tower and it works fine. I've tried switching chords but that didn't help. Have you heard of this problem before? Has my monitor gone to junk?
Thanks and I look forward to hearing back from you.
Christina
Answer First lets try cleaning and reseting it
Purchase some canned air from an office supply store.
Unplug the monitor
use the canned air to blow all the vent holes out, get in there really good
leave the monitor unplugged for about 1 day to discharge
then plug it back in and use the buttons on the front to reset the monitor
If there are speakers near the monitor try moving them further away.
