Question QUESTION: hello,sir.
Please tell me which graphic card is the right one for my pc.
My budget is around 125$.
I would use my computer for CAD,some games like NFS prostreet.
My current configuration is:
*ASUS m2n mx motherboard with onboard Geforce 6100 nforce 430,which
(almost)doesn't support my above said needs.
*processor:AMD 64 X2 3800+
*smps power:450W
Motherboard has the following slots:
*PCIe express x16 -1
*PCIe express x1 -1
*PCI -2

how about XFX?
could you please tell me any card in the XFX range which,has the same
capabilities as i said before?

Answer chaintech is a generic company. Their products are hit or miss. Some perform very well, others are a waist of money.
XFX is a higher end company focused on gaming, but their cards should work very nicely for what you want.

The core clock and the memory clock are a little slower than the 512 meg version and it's running DDR2 memory where the 512 version is using ddr3 memory. It will still work nicely for you.
Either of these cards will crush the onboard one you had. I am running an 7800 GT and it runs anything I can throw at it.
The 1 gig card you sacrifice a little speed for more memory, the 512 you sacrifice memory for speed. Either one work work great for what you want. If your not sure check your cad program and see how much video memory they recommend. As far as NFS prostreet, wither of these cards should meet the requirements nicely. If you don't need 1 gig of video memory go with the 512 for the speed.
