Answer In device manager make sure the onboard video is disabled (right click my computer and choose manage).
The driver you are installing is it from ATI's website?
Make sure you have direct x 9c. type dxdiag in the run box.
Check the computer manufacturer's website for updated sound card drivers. Sound and video go hand and hand when it comes to games. Updated video and sound driver may correct the problem.
