I have been into computer hardware, especially 3D graphics and the hardware that drives them, for a number of years. I have knowledge in installation, use, troubleshooting, purchase suggestions and over clocking.

Subject: video card problem

Question
I recently uploaded Call of Duty 4 and received a video card error. I just assumed since purchasing the notebook last year it would have one of the updated video cards.  I have an Toshiba Satellite A135-4677, and after further review of the specs noted it has a Intel Graphics Media Accelator 950 card.  My greatest question that I cannot get help from Toshiba or TigerDirect is or can the video card be upgraded or replaced internally or will an expansion card have to be used.  If you have any knowledge or whom to contact to get further advise it would be appreciated.

Answer
You'd have to contact Toshiba about any upgrades, however given that its a notebook, I'm going to say there isn't a high chance of a graphics upgrade (due to the proprietary nature of notebooks). The GMA 950 is very likely incapable of Call of Duty 4, as an aside.
