Question
Hey, i recently bought a cheap nvidia 9600gt and im having trouble. Everything seems to be working correctly but the resoultion seems to big and chunky for the screen, iv updated all drivers (as i know of) and i have also tried changing icon size which doesnt seem to work. Weirdly on display settings im only aloud to choose from 1024x768 and 800x600, Please help it looks disgusting Lol

Answer
Have you installed the ForceWare drivers from nVidia?

Select your configuration and hardware from the menus:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

It sounds like (and admittedly I am making some assumptions here), you're using the default Windows VGA driver, not the nVidia drivers, which is what limits your available resolution options. With proper drivers installed, you should select the specified native resolution for your display, and this should resolve "big and chunky."

If you have further questions, feel free to ask.
