Video Game Repair/Vintage game and watch lcd hand held games

Question
I have a number of vintage handheld games that are about 30 years old now.  Some still work well but some have ink runs under the screen.  There used to be a way to fix this, but I have forgotten it now.  How can I fix the ink runs so I can see the game clearly?  I am sure we used to use a pin and bleed the excess ink out when we were kids, but I don't want to wreck the game when it still works?

Answer
Gday Jenny

Unfortunately if you have LCD bleed/leak there is no way off repairing this.  (Bar replacing the LCD screen, and you be hard pressed to find 30 year old replacements.)  Your childhood memories are false, you can't bleed the Liquid Crystal from the screen with a pin to repair it.

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news.
