Question
I bought a golden tee fore 2005.  The ball works fine for awhile and then stops working.  You can still use ball to change clubs but can't use for swinging. Any suggestions.  Also do you recommend leaving machine running at all times or turn off when not using.  If I put this in my garage (unheated space) will cold damage game. Thanks for your time.

Answer
Hi Jonathan,

First of all, I highly recommend turning the game on only when you're going to play. It does no harm to turn it on and off, and leaving it on, especially in an unheated area, can cause many more problems than it is worth.

As for the trackball issue- if it works for a little bit and then stops, it's very likely that you've got a bad connection on the up/down axis of the ball. Open the control panel and unplug both of the connectors going to the trackball and clean the pins with a pencil eraser. Put the plugs back on and give it a shot- it will likely work perfectly and give you no more issues!

Hope this helps,
Brian
