Just like to add something to Brian's answer. The Psp Headphone Jack is not easily accessed from the inside of the psp. To gain access you need to remove the bottom buttons (volume, home etc..) the lcd screen, the screen housing, the power and zbxy button board, the analog stick, the + pad button board, the motherboard, and then the motherboard housing. The headphone jack is at the very bottom of the psp casing and I'd just like to express how much this isn't an easy task.
