Question is there any way that i can stop my games from freezing because once i droped mine and it never let me play games can i fix it or do i have to get it repaired
Answer Hi,
Quite often this happens when the UMD door hinge breaks off and gets jammed in the laser gear but other things can also cause the same problem. There's really no way to know what happened without seeing it so I can't say whether it's a do-it-yourself candidate or not but if you're comfortable working on these things there's no reason not to try. If it's just the hinge or something similar causing the problem you can easily remove it once you have the UMD drive out of the casing. Anything other than that though will require new parts and probably a little expertise. Thanks, Lynn
