Subject: ps2 slim keeps freezing

Question
my playstation2 is about 2 years old and it keeps freezing. It happens on all games or dvd's. Sometimes it freezes when loading or after 5-10 minutes of play. We sent it to be cleaned and it still doesn't work. is hter anything that can be done?

Answer
Sounds like it may have a heating or electrical problem caused by heat or lack of air circulation. Try playing it out in the open with good air circulation and see what happens. If it still freezes, then it will need to be either repaired or replaced. Talk to Sony about this and see what they would charge to fix it.
