Subject: scratches on a ps2 game

Question
i have a play station game Grand Theft Auto:san andreas and there is scratches on and i tired everything to repair it like tooth paste, conditioner everything can you help me ,what do i use and how?

Answer
With a game like GTA:SA, the cure for your problem may be more expensive than just purchasing a used copy of the game. However, i use Novus plastic polishing compound on all of my games and cds, and it works like a miracle. You can find it at http://oldphones.com/Detail.bok?no=15

The benefit to purchasing Novus is that you'll have PLENTY left over for all of your other games and compact discs.

It is important to note that when you polish the disc, you must go from the inside of the disc out, in a straight line. Going in circles will cause the laser to be unable to track correctly, and will lead to skipping, locking up, and general failure.

Start with a coating of Novus 3 (the teal bottle), then follow up with Novus 2, and finally polish it off with Novus 1. This should bring the disk to like-new condition. It is best to use a soft cloth, as the paste has a decent grit to it (esp. #3) In a pinch, however, paper towels will suffice.

Good luck!
