About Trey McGowan Expertise I can answer strategy questions for just about any video games. RPGs and collecting/raising sims are my major specialty, though I am also experienced in general strategy games, a variety of MMORPGs, and possibly even some much more esoteric ones. I can't promise that I'll be able to answer all your questions from personal experience, but I can promise that if I can't, I will do my utmost to research the answer before I give it to you.
Best consoles to ask about: NES, SNES, GB/GBC, GBA, Playstation, Playstation II. If you are asking outside of this list, please give a little extra time for some research to be done on the game.
Please note: if you are wanting a particular version of strategy (i.e. a *fast* playthrough, a powerful playthrough, a challenge game, a specific boss beat in a specific way), make sure the details are added. The more I know about what *you* want to know, the better.
Experience I am an avid player of video games of various types, including RPGs, strategy games, MMORPGs, et cetera. I have been playing since the Atari 1300 days, and even back then, learning the strategy and the like of the games was as interesting as beating it.

Question Hello,
In terms of general popularity and rating, which game is better, Morrowind III or Oblivion. Which do you think is the more thrilling and requires more skills?
Thanks in advance.
Answer Hello, Ali!
You'll have to pardon the delay on this one, but as you asked a question about the popularity and rating, I had to do a little research on what people thought of the games. I'm assuming by Oblivion you mean 'Elder Scrolls IV', but if I'm wrong, be sure to let me know!
The numbers of people giving these two games ratings seems to lean more toward Oblivion than Morrowind, to the tune of about 9.3 to 8.9. Now, that's not going to be the be-all and end-all, obviously, but you did ask for general rating. As for popularity, a check on GameFAQS shows that Morrowind has reviews from 34 users and 59 in Gameranking, while Oblivion has it from 140 users and 68 in Gameranking. Therefore, if you are looking for the generally more popular one, I would say Oblivion is your solid bet.
As for 'more thrilling and requires more skill', I have not played either of these two games, so I can't give you a personal report on what I found. However, looking through the details on both of the games, it seems to me that if I had to choose one to call 'more skills', I would probably point at Morrowind. Not to say that Oblivion doesn't require them, but it seems one of the bigger problems with Morrowind was the non-intuitiveness of the game (albeit not as much as its predecessor), which means that it can be difficult to work out what you're supposed to do next. This is not always a good thing, though it is definitely a sign that a game requires more skill than being led through.
All in all, both games are very highly-acclaimed, and you'd probably not waste your money buying either one if you are a fan of in-depth and non-linear role-playing games.
