Hi there, have you tried Final Fantasy11? Final Fantasy 11 is an Online RPG game that is worth a try, also keep in mind that Final Fantasy 11 needs a PS2 hard drive.
If you aren't interested in Final Fantasy11 or just don't want to spend money on a PS2 Hard Drive, I strongly suggest you try one of these titles:
Gladius
Jade Cocoon 2
Phantasy Star Universe
These are Multiplayer RPG games that are very addictive.
There are quite a few good, really good RPG games that are Single Player only. If you want to know more about'em let me know.
But as far as I know, the three multiplayer RPG games mentioned above are few of the best.
