Hi ron....What is a good price for a 1981 Mercedes Benz 300D automatic in excellent condition worth? It has 107,000 miles. Paint is excellent except for one tiny rust bubble by the back drivers side rear glass where the rubber stripping meets the paint....I have only seen the car online....its in OHio and I am in NY...any feedback?

The key is service history, if it is absent , I would avoid purchase unless a pre sale inspection can be done. YOu can usually have someone check the car for you. I can probably hook you up if you choose this route.
Paint is the least of your worries, rust areas need to be visualized , fenders, door panels, trunk, floor boards. How many miles? Currently running?
