Question I was cleaning off the dead leaves and flowers from one of my plants and the stem broke. Is there a way to replant it?
Answer Is the stem healthy? If so, you can trim off where it broke off. Some growers perfer to cut the leaf end at an angle saying this will produce more babies.
Put the leaf preferably in wet vermiculite, or in violet soil. Water as needed and wait for little mouse ears to appear which become babies, replicas of the mother plant.
Some growers will just put the leaf in a glass of water. This produces roots and babies as well but at some point you have to put it into a soilmix. This is why I always just start it off in a good soil mix.
