Question I have a friend going through cancer treatment it has depleted his body and pocketbook.He has a violin and wanted to find out if it has any value.I am a dumb old country boy that can use the computer a little so I told him I would see what I could find out,any help would be greatly appreciated.This is the markings found on the violin.

Here's you're answer: I can't tell you much without seeing it. There are thousands of instruments around with funny labels inside that say all kinds of stuff. Anybody you know that has a digital camera and can take some good, well-lit pictures? You can e-mail them to me at Dalton@pottersviolins.com and I'll take a look. Your friend's fiddle might be a couple hundred dollars up to a couple thousand, depending upon it's condition and actual maker. Happy to help out if I can.
