Expertise
I can answer questions about violin and guitar making and restoration. I will not answer questions about playing these instruments, because I am a maker, not a player.

Experience
I was trained in violin making in Germany and have been working at this craft for sixty years.

Answer
Hi Ray;
I can help with your violin ID question. I can look at your violin
and can tell within a few moments if it is real or not. There is no charge for that service. If I determine it has value and you would like an appraisal it will cost $50.
