Hi Doug,
I'm sure you mean Klo(t)z and not Klox. It's impossible to judge from the photos because the varnish is almost stripped. In this condition, you really need to take it to your nearest violin shop so they can have a very close look.I'm so sorry I can't be of help but I've never seen a violin in this condition!
