Question Dear Margaret
I own an old violin that is absolutely filthy with greasy dust from the old rosin. I haven't used the violin in years, and have no idea how to clean it off. What should I do?
Thank you!
Claire
Answer I don't know exactly how bad it's looking, but have you tried cleaners? If it's not too bad, go to your nearest music store and get a good violin cleaner. If that doesn't work, you may want to consult a specialist.
