Subject: Roth Violin

Question
My brother has a Roth violin that was made in 1929 that is a copy of a Stradivarius 1722. It has the name stamped in it and a paper with his name on it glued in it. It is in pristine condition. It was stored in the attic in the case with 2 bows for many years. We are trying to find out what the value could be. The music shop here says that it only needs new strings to be playable. Do you have any good guess of its value? It is very beautiful.
