QUESTION: Um sorry but I don't understand.
ANSWER: I must have not understood your question. I thought you wanted the measurements along the strings to place frets for putting the fingers down.

QUESTION: How do you put the finger tapes on a violin
Answer I have never done this, but I imagine that you take very thin strips of tape and wrap them around the neck of the violin at the distances from the far end of the string that I gave before, running the tape under the strings.
