Violin/Andreas Guarnerius Violin

I have one from 1677 and my most recent appraisal from 2012 was for over $500,000.  I have been told the number I have is still quite low and that was from several experts in the field and a few performers.  Unless the violin is seen by an expert, no way exists for anyone to give an accurate amout of money becsue no way exists to know what it really is without seeing and examing it.

I can answer questions about violin and guitar making and restoration. I will not answer questions about playing these instruments, because I am a maker, not a player.

I was trained in violin making in Germany and have been working at this craft for sixty years.
